How far in advance should I make my reservation?

We recommend booking your reservation as soon as your travel plans are confirmed to ensure we have the items available.

Can my order be delivered within 24 hours?

We understand emergencies do arise.  Please call us at 907-310-8822 for availability before placing your order.  Same day delivery may be subject to an additional delivery fee.

When will I be charged for my rental equipment?

Your credit card will be processed the day prior to your delivery.  We accept cash, but a credit card is required for a security deposit.  No hold is placed on your credit card at anytime.

What types of payment do you accept?

Our site offers secure online payments using VISA, MasterCard,  and Discover. 

Can I pick up my rental equipment?

Unfortunately, not at this time.  We do provide delivery at your convenience.

Can I add equipment to my order?

Absolutely!  Additional items are always welcome, up to the day prior to delivery.  Call or email us to make changes to your order at 907-310-8822 or info@nltravelingtykes.com

What if I need something not on your list?

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations within 48 hours of the delivery date will be charged 50% of the original order.  No refunds will be given within 24 hours of delivery.  Cancellations more than 48 hours will be charged a $25 processing fee.

Delivery

Where do you deliver?

We deliver to Anchorage, and surrounding cities including but not limited to Eagle River, Wasilla, Palmer and Girdwood.  Delivery to the airport, flight information will be required to ensure accurate time of arrival. 

How much is delivery and pickup?

Delivery is FREE in the Anchorage/Eagle River area.  A minimum order of $150 is required to Wasilla, Palmer, and Girdwood, at a flat rate of $40 - $50 round trip.  If for any reason an unexpected delivery/pick-up is made, not the fault of NLTT, delivery/pick-up fees may apply. 

Do you deliver at Ted Steven's International Airport?

Absolutely!  We deliver at TSIA at either the rental car company, or passenger pick-up/drop-off.  We will check your flight information , and adjust our schedule, as to not delay the start of your family vacation.  When you depart, there will be a grace period of 5 minutes from your specified pick-up time that we have agreed upon.  Any delays over 5 minutes, will result in a $1 per minute  waiting fee.  Changes to your pick-up time, will be accepted at least 1 hour in advance.

Can you deliver at two location?

Yes, delivery and pick-up at two locations is available.  An additional delivery fee of $10-$15 may apply. 

Do you set up full size cribs or other equipment?

Yes, all equipment are set up as needed EXCLUDING car seats.  Full size cribs are assembled and disassembled by NLTT ONLY, and cannot be moved without prior authorization.  Full size crib set ups, takes approximately 30 - 60 minutes per crib.  

Shipping

How does shipping my C.A.R.E.S work?

Your item will be shipped no later than 7 business days prior to the start of your reservation.  The shipping rates via USPS Priority Mail are listed below.  Expedited shipping is available at an additional cost.

The cost of your rental will be the actual dates of your travels, plus applicable shipping fees.  Return shipment must be postmarked for the next business day (including Saturdays) after your rental ends. Any additional days will be charged at the regular rental rate up to but not exceeding the full retail value. 

Safety

Are your products safety checked and cleaned?

Absolutely!  All baby equipment and accessories are thoroughly inspected, and cleaned after each rental.  Recall status is checked frequently, and are registered with the manufacturer if possible.  All products are cleaned and laundered using eco-friendly cleaners.

Can you install car seats?

No, we can NOT install or advise on how to install a car seat.  The owner's manual is provided with every car seat rental.

What is your policy on damages/breakage?

We rent out high quality baby equipment and expect each item to be returned in working order.  If equipment is damaged or broken during a rental period, we will determine the extent of the damage and charge full replacement value, if applicable.  This charge is in additional to  the original rental.
